907x 100c - Phocus Mobile 2 - Top Overlay Crops Live View on Ipad

Then what does your statement mean: "Thanks Godfrey, it is not an issue with the files but the camera display having the strong magenta cast when accurately white balanced. ..." I don't know about anyone else, but I look at the LCD or EVF on a camera and use it to frame and focus, not to...

907x 100c - Phocus Mobile 2 - Top Overlay Crops Live View on Ipad

How do you calibrate the on-camera display for white balance? I've never done anything like that with my 907x ... I just use it and the colors on the LCD look about right. Far as I'm aware, you can only set the brightness and contrast... ???? G

    Hasselblad's aversion to red dots

Heh. You're inspiring me to grab the 907x and take it on my walk. I think the 21mm has been on it for a month or so ... maybe I'll switch it to the 45mm. There, done: took two seconds. ... ;) 45P is a lot smaller, lighter lens... Camera hangs tail down instead of lens down like with the 21mm...

907x 100c - Phocus Mobile 2 - Top Overlay Crops Live View on Ipad

I've heard of color casts with all my lenses, on all my camera systems, from time to time. I must not be very critical as I've never noticed it. I always capture raw format. Then, I just click on a bright grey area in the photos with whatever white balance tool is in the app I'm using, and...

    Hasselblad's aversion to red dots

Hmm. Never bothered ... My excuse: I don't change lenses that often, and don't have any problem finding the appropriate index mark that Hasselblad put on the lens mount. ;) G

    Fun with the Hasselblad 907x

That 28P is an appealing lens for its size and handy-ness! I really should put the 21 onto the 907x and go for a walk with it ... it's been a while! :D G

    Fun with the Hasselblad 907x

Nice photos! I had a very nice SWC/M ... I sold it to help buy the 907x plus lenses. IMO, if you already have the 45P or 38V lens, there's little point to buying an SWC because the smaller format cuts the FoV down too much for the SWC to show the Biogon 38mm lens's magic. You need a 21-22mm...

    Hasselblad 24mm (or 25mm) f2.5V and 135mm f2.5V

I'm very happy with the XCD21/4. Cropped to square, it nets my goal of an "all digital SWC" with the 907x body; it's just a hair wider, and when lens corrections are performed, the results look very very similar. A 24mm is close but not quite wide enough. G

    Hasselblad XV Lens Adapter Questions

Yes, the XH tripod foot fits the XV and XCD 135/1.7x perfectly. I've been using it with the XV adapter a lot. I bolted an Arca Swiss adapter to it the moment I received it, hardly recalled that it didn't come that way! LOL! G
